If necessary, a Baycom Broadband Service Technician will be dispatched within one business day to fix the problem.

Connecting to Your Wireless Network

  1. Double-click on the wireless icon in your system tray

     
  2. On the "Choose Wireless Network" screen double-click on "Baycom Broadband"

     
  3. When asked for the Network Key, enter the Key found on the bottom of your wireless router

     
  4. You will now be connected and see the wireless icon in your system tray without the "X"

Connection instructions for use on Windows XP system with default Windows wireless connection tool. Connection instructions may vary by wireless network card manufacturer software.

Security Tips
  1. If you are running Windows XP, be sure Service Pack 2 is installed
  2. Turn on automatic updates
    • In "Control Panel » Automatic Updates" check "Automatic"
    • This will enable downloading of important security updates directly from Microsoft
  3. Anti-Virus
    • Install an anti-virus program to protect your computer
    • A great free anti-virus program called AVG is available at http://free.grisoft.com
  4. Spyware and Adware
